Here at Camp on Allyn, you can fish in the crystal clear Allyn River, explore rockpools, meet the local wildlife or simply sit back, unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

Our property is located right by the Allyn River, East Gresford and offers:

Clean and spacious bathrooms with hot showers
Large communal BBQ area.
Spacious and manicured grounds
Fire drums for campfires and firewood available for purchase
Powered and non-powered sites
Pet-friendly venue for friendly pets (must be on a leash with a responsible human at the other end picking up after them)
Easy access to the Allyn River

For your convenience we have a mini store with the following items available for purchase:

Non-perishable snacks and beverages
Precut and bagged firewood for campfires (*or bring your own but please ensure no nails, screws or damaging materials)
Gas bottle refills

In addition to our great facilities, your Camp on Allyn site includes:

Large, mowed spacious property to explore.
Maintained and contained fire pit and fire drums.
Convenient access to power (powered sites only)
Ample space from your neighboring sites
Unlimited fresh air (wink)

Looking for a well-priced camping spot with impeccable facilities?

Our camping and caravan site rates are $16.50 per night per person, (for all over 3 years) with an additional cost of $11 per night for power (per site).

Check-in at Camp on Allyn is available between 10am and 5pm. Late entry to be discussed with management. Check-out is 10am. Late fees do apply.

Great campsite with plenty of room set amongst the hills on a flat area on the Allyn River. Hosts Tom and Robyn were very hospitable. The toilets and showers were the cleanest amenities I have ever experienced at a camp site. Noise is kept to a minimum at night to ensure a good nights rest. Highly recommended.We will be back.

Great spot, lovely hosts with very clean amenities and room to spread out. Close to town if you need supplies. Fire pit supplied on all sites to kick back and relax. Also has a great camp kitchen. Pet friendly. Can't wait for our next visit, absolutely love the wide open space and the views. They also take pride in recycling all waste products.

Very spacious campground with clean amenities. Hosts Robyn and Tom were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Lots to do in the surrounding area as well as enjoy the peaceful campground by the river. We will definitely be going back

1st time here and cannot say enough positive things about this place owners are extremely friendly and inviting all campers there were best behaviour a real family friendly place. Highly recommend this for all ages A+++++++ toilets showers camp grounds were perfect and spotless. Anyone thinking of coming to stay just do it, you will be very happy.

If you want a tranquil location for camping this is the place to go
It's classified as a primitive camp ground, but it's far from primitive, it has beautiful clean toilets/showers, lovely camp kitchen and every site which is big enough to fit 4 caravans comfortably on has a fire pit to keep you nice and toasty at night
You can also swim in the river in the warmer weather and the hosts Robyn and Tom are the nicest people you'll ever meet

Awesome family run camp ground. The spacing of sites was perfect, lovely hot showers and plumbed in toilets. The river was beautiful and clear with an mowed path from the camp ground. Highly recommend. Also pet friendly. If you need the odd sweet or bug spray their little store is also reasonably priced. Photo is of the original homestead that’s on the property.

All the reviews are true. Fantastic spot with awesome hosts. I love that they sell firewood, refill gas bottles and have a few bits and bobs like marsh mellows in the kiosk.
The river is great for a splash too.
